How to Get Mint in NTE?
Mint is one of the free characters in NTE and is unlocked by progressing through the story.
Best Arc (Weapons) for Mint
![]() Fluff of Fleetness | Base ATK: 512 Sub Stat: Crit DMG: 44% Increases 5% ATK every Is while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field. |
![]() Mind Royale | Base ATK: 555 Sub Stat: Break Intensity: 60 Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s. |
![]() Clear Skies | Base ATK: 475 Sub Stat: ATK: 25% Increases Anima DMG dealt by the wearer's Redirect Skill and Ultimate by 20%. |
Fluff of Fleetness is Mint's best-in-slot weapon. The weapon gives CRIT DMG as its substat, which is valuable since Mint already receives a lot of CRIT Rate from her Type 3 module specialization. The high CRIT DMG substat (44% at level 80) helps you reach 100% total CRIT DMG if you have Fireflies and the Forest as the cartridge.
The weapon skill increases your ATK by 5% every 1 second while Mint is the active character, stacking up to 5 times for a total of 25% ATK. The stacks reset when you switch Mint off the field.
This mechanic fits Mint's playstyle perfectly since she wants to stay on the field for extended periods. After being on Mint for 5 seconds, you gain the full 25% ATK buff and maintain it as long as you don't switch. Since Mint typically stays on field for 10-15 seconds per rotation, you have this buff active for most of your damage window.
Mind Royale is an A-rank weapon that can actually outperform Fluff of Fleetness in specific scenarios. This weapon gives Break Intensity as its substat, which increases your break damage. The base ATK is notably high for an A-rank weapon (36 at level 1, 555 at level 80), making it competitive with S-rank options purely from a stat perspective.
The weapon skill grants you 10 Ultimate Energy when you cast your skill. This effect triggers at most once every 20 seconds. Here's why this weapon can be better than Fluff of Fleetness: if the extra Ultimate Energy allows you to cast one additional ultimate during a fight, the total damage gain can exceed the 25% ATK buff from Fluff of Fleetness. Mint's ultimate contributes 20-30% of her total damage, so an extra ultimate cast is significant. Mind Royale is best used when:
- You need the Break Intensity substat for your build
- You don't have access to the Battle Pass
- You're fighting longer encounters where an additional ultimate is guaranteed

Mint has a Type 3 specialization, and she gains 8% CRIT Rate for each Type 3 module equipped. This is an incredibly strong specialization. With four Type 3 modules (the maximum you can fit with Fireflies and the Forest while activating the 4-pc bonus), you gain 32% CRIT Rate for free.
Increases CRIT Rate by 8% for each Type III Module equipped.
- Required modules (4 slots): The four specific modules needed to activate the 4-piece Fireflies and the Forest bonus.

How to Play Mint in NTE?
Mint is an on-field main DPS who specializes in dealing consistent damage through her skill resets and low cooldown abilities. She needs extended field time to maximize her damage, similar to Nanally, but her playstyle revolves around triggering critical ripostes (counterattacks after perfect dodges) to reset her skill cooldown instantly.
Start each rotation by setting up team buffs through your support characters like Haniel or Daffodil. Once your supports have applied their buffs, switch to Mint and use her skill. The skill has a very low cooldown naturally, but with Awakening 1 unlocked, you can reset it instantly by performing a critical riposte. This means you can use Skill → wait for enemy attack → perfect dodge → critical riposte → Skill again in rapid succession.
Between skill uses, fill downtime with basic attacks. Mint has a standard 5-hit combo that deals decent damage. When enemies are broken (stunned), hold your basic attack button to perform Minty Whirlwind—a spinning attack that deals multiple hits over 6 seconds. This is perfect for break-windows. Use your ultimate either during breaks or when it's available, as it contributes significantly to your total damage.
Awakening 1 is essential for Mint's playstyle. Without it, you're stuck waiting for skill cooldowns instead of resetting them through critical ripostes. Once you unlock A1, your gameplay becomes much more fluid and reactive. Awakening 5 pairs well with A1 by giving you 25% CRIT DMG for 6 seconds after using your skill, which you'll trigger constantly thanks to the resets.
Mint is free, easy to play, and fun for players who prefer staying on one character instead of constantly quick-swapping. She contributes around 40-50% of your team's total damage (ofcourse it depends on the comp as well) and requires proper investment across her entire kit since her damage is distributed between basics, skill, and ultimate.
