Best Arc (Weapons) for Edgar

Call of the Twisted City
Mind Royale

Call of the Twisted City (Best Overall)

It increases HP, which improves his healing, and adds an extra healing bonus whenever he uses his Redirect Skill. Perfect for a medic-focused playstyle.

Mind Royale (Support Option)

It helps generate Ultimate energy on a cooldown when using his Redirect Skill, letting him access his off-field healing more often. It also adds some Break Intensity, giving him minor value in breaking enemies.

Best Cartridges and Modules for Edgar

Thea's Night Tavern

Edgar’s best cartridge for maximizing healing, which is what he's best at. It provides a small HP boost from the set bonus, along with a strong 20% healing bonus from the 4-piece effect, making it essential for a medic playstyle.

The setup is also efficient, as it mainly uses Type III Modules. With the full set active, you still have room to add extra modules, reaching up to 60% max HP from the console bonus, further improving his overall healing output.

How to Play Edgar in NTE?

Edgar is a healer focused on keeping the team alive through steady HP recovery, making him best used as a quick swap-in support rather than a constant on-field unit. His role is simple, step in when an ally’s HP drops, provide healing, then rotate back out to maintain damage pressure.

His Wild Current skill is his main healing tool, dealing damage while restoring HP to the lowest-health ally when held. The longer it’s held, the stronger the healing becomes, but it leaves Edgar exposed and increases cooldown, so timing is important. It’s best used when the team actually needs recovery, not just for extra damage.

His Ultimate, Finnegan’s Wake, creates a healing zone that continuously restores HP over time. Since this effect remains active even after switching characters, the optimal play is to deploy the zone, then immediately swap back to a damage dealer to keep up offensive momentum while the team passively heals.

Overall, Edgar’s rotation is really simple and easy to do. You swap him in when needed, heal with Wild Current or Ultimate, then switch out to keep the team both healthy and aggressive.
