Best Arc (Weapons) for Adler

The Fools’ Spring (Best Overall A-Rank)
A top pick for Adler, giving a strong DEF % boost, which directly increases his damage since his kit scales with DEF. Its effect is easy to maintain, as his Skill creates shields, further improving his overall output.
Umbrella (Great Alternative)
Another good choice with high DEF % and extra HP for better survivability. It also strengthens his shields when he stays at high health, making him more durable in longer fights.
A Time Will Come (Situational Pick)
Provides CRIT Rate along with some DEF and HP from its effect. However, Adler doesn’t rely on crit, so the stat isn’t very impactful. The Arc is still usable, but its conditions and weaker overall bonuses make it less consistent than the other options.
Best Cartridges and Modules for Adler

The ideal cartridge for Adler, as it fully supports his DEF-scaling damage and shield-based kit. Running the full 4-piece set is recommended, as it boosts both his defense and shield strength, making him more effective overall.
This setup is also efficient, since it only uses Type III Modules, allowing you to keep a strong console bonus without compromise. With the full set, you can still add extra modules, reaching up to 72% increased DEF, further enhancing both his damage and survivability.

How to Play Adler in NTE?
Adler’s gameplay revolves around building and spending Karma stacks while supporting the team with shields and debuffs.
Start by using his Basic Attacks to stack Karma, as each hit in his attack sequence contributes to building these stacks. Once he reaches Awakening Stage 1, his Ultimate can also generate Karma, making it easier to maintain momentum during fights.
After stacking enough Karma, use his Redirect Skill to consume those stacks and deal increased damage. This skill also provides a Shield upon activation, allowing a safe transition into another damage dealer. The idea is to create a window where the next attacker can push damage without worrying about incoming threats.
His Support Skill adds another layer of utility by applying a random debuff to enemies. These debuffs can reduce elemental resistance or improve Break efficiency, both of which significantly boost the effectiveness of whoever follows up.
In short, Adler's main rotation is to build Karma with Basic Attacks, use Redirect Skill for damage and shielding, then switch to a teammate after applying a debuff to maximize overall team damage.
