Shiny Days (Best A-Rank Alternative)
A strong backup option that gives Attack % and Break Intensity. Since Daffodill frequently breaks enemies, she can make great use of the bonus damage against broken targets. With higher mixing levels, it can even outperform a low-copy Youthful Fantasy for break-focused builds.
Mind Royale (Situational Pick)
Provides solid Break Intensity and extra Ultimate energy, helping her use her Ultimate more often. However, it lacks Attack % and damage bonuses, so her overall damage will be lower compared to other options.

Running the full set is recommended. With proper setup, you can still add extra Type III and Type II Modules, reaching around 50% Chaos DMG bonus while keeping the resistance ignore effect.

How to Play Daffodill in NTE?
Daffodill revolves around building power off-field, then switching in at the perfect moment to unleash heavy damage. While she is not active, she benefits every time teammates use their Support Skills, which enhances her Redirect Skill up to two stacks. This means the longer she stays in reserve while allies rotate skills, the stronger her entry becomes.
Her core gameplay comes from timing. When an enemy is about to use a strong, parryable attack, switching to Daffodill triggers her special counter mechanic, allowing her to perform a Parry Attack. If executed correctly, this instantly fills her Ultimate gauge, letting her skip the usual buildup and go straight into her burst phase.
Once her Ultimate is used, it applies Insight to the enemy. This effect becomes crucial for team synergy, as triggering a Break while Insight is active deals a large chunk of bonus damage. Because of this, Daffodill works best in coordinated setups where teammates can help push enemies into Break right after her Ultimate lands.
In short, her flow is simple but timing-heavy. Let allies stack her buffs from the backline, switch in to parry a big attack, instantly gain Ultimate, then apply Insight and capitalize on Break damage for massive burst output.
