Neverness to Everness features online co-op multiplayer that lets you explore the game with up to four players. While the main story remains single-player only, multiplayer unlocks several activities, including racing, combat challenges, mini-games, and home visits. This guide covers how to unlock co-op in NTE, invite friends, and what you can do together.
How to Unlock Multiplayer in NTE
Multiplayer unlocks about 30-35 minutes into the game . This happens naturally as you complete quests and progress through the early chapters. Once you hit about Hunter Level 7 (we are not exactly sure about the level requirements), the multiplayer feature becomes available on your in-game phone. Focus on completing main story missions and side quests to level up quickly.
How to play Co-op in NTE?
Follow these steps to play multiplayer in NTE:
- Open your in-game phone after reaching Hunter Level 7.
- The phone interface appears on the right side of the screen and contains several menu options. Tap the Multiplayer button, which is the option next to the Tutorial button on page 2.
- This opens the multiplayer menu with a search bar at the top.
- Enter your friend's UID in the search bar to find them. The UID is the unique player identification number that every player receives. Your friends can find their UID in their profile menu. Once you locate your friend through the search, send them an invite to join your world.
Friends who receive invites can accept them to join your session immediately. You can also join friends' worlds if they send you invites instead. The host player's world determines which activities are available based on their progression and unlocked content.
