NTE version 1.1 brings two new characters (Lacrimosa and Chaos), confirmed banner dates, a Porsche collaboration, new locations, and new game modes. Here's everything you need to know about NTE version 1.1, along with the release date and other details.
Neverness to Everness 1.1 Release Date
Neverness to Everness Version 1.1 will go live on June 3, 2026, right after Hotori's Misty Tipsy Style banner closes. The exact time will depend on your server and region, but usually the server resets at 4:00 PM PT. Keep an eye on official NTE channels for the confirmed maintenance schedule once it's announced.

New Characters in Version 1.1 of NTE
Lacrimosa (Phase 1)
Lacrimosa is going to be the first new character coming in Phase 1, and she’s already getting a lot of attention because of her unique personality. Even though she has a dark gothic design, she acts playful and chaotic, especially with her obsession for tomatoes.

In gameplay, Lacrimosa is a Chaos-element Main DPS focused on Damage over Time (DoT). Her kit revolves around stacking Nightmare effects on enemies and triggering extra damage once the stacks are full. Players also got to try her briefly in the tutorial, so many already know how she feels to play.
The livestream also showed five outfits for Lacrimosa:
- New Moon Lullaby
- Piano Key Sonatina
- Yesterday’s Melody
- Gilded Rhapsody
- Nightingale’s Crescendo
Another important detail is that pity from Hotori’s banner carries over to Lacrimosa’s banner, making it easier for players with existing pull progress to go for her in Phase 1.
Chaos (Phase 2)
Chaos is the second new character and the more mysterious of the two. He's connected to the E.T.D. 6th Platoon. His element is Lakshana, which is still a relatively less explored part of the game's type system compared to other elements.

The livestream gave players a first look at his gameplay, but his full combat role and the complete kit breakdown has not been locked in yet. Two outfits were confirmed for him during the showcase:
- Never Skip
- Clear Skies
We will update this as soon as more details about his abilities and gameplay become available.
New Locations in Version 1.1
Two new areas were revealed during the stream. Sunward Island is the first, located just outside Hethereau. The second is the Corridor of Echoes, with more details still to come.

Porsche Collaboration
The update’s biggest highlight is the arrival of the Porsche 918 Spyder as a special collaboration vehicle, alongside exclusive collaboration outfits for the protagonist and a brand-new property, Pegasus Residence.

During the limited-time Version 1.1 event, players can obtain the 918 Spyder and the themed outfits through the pull system, with the option to use either Annulith or Fons for pulls.
Bond System and Move-In Updates
Increasing your bond level with Lacrimosa and Chaos in Version 1.1 unlocks the Ride Along and Move-In systems, as well as additional character interactions. However, there is one restriction to note: male and female companions cannot stay in the same residence simultaneously, meaning players will have to choose who moves in.
The update also expands both characters’ stories by introducing their City Hangout questlines.
New Game Modes

- Fight Club: Brand-new city stamina activity introduced after defeating Tornado, the leader of the Tornado Gang. The mode can be tackled solo or through matchmaking with up to four players.
- Underground Circuit: A new racing mode that puts a chaotic combat twist on traditional races. At the start of each match, vehicles are scattered around the arena, forcing players to scramble for a ride before the race begins. Every vehicle is armed from the start, allowing both drivers and passengers to attack rival racers during the event. Once a vehicle’s durability is completely depleted, it detonates and eliminates everyone inside.
Login Rewards and In-Game Mail
When Version 1.1 goes live, a daily login event opens. Log in for a total of seven days during the event to claim 10 Solid Dice. Every player will also receive a Hethereau Special Gift Pack through in-game mail after the update drops, which contains 5 Fabricated Dice, 5 De-Noise Solution, and 5 Tri-Key.
