Neverness to Everness Tier List: All Characters Ranked (Closed Beta Test)

Neverness to Everness has entered closed beta testing with 16 characters currently available in the game. We will be posting a Neverness to Everness character tier list once we progress through the test and we collect enough information about character performance, elemental reactions, and team synergies. Since the game heavily relies on elemental interactions and role synergies, our final NTE tier list will be organized by roles rather than a single overall ranking. Understanding the Tier Rankings

• S-Tier - The absolute best characters based on post-release performance. S-tier characters are meta-defining and should be your top priority if rerolling. They consistently outperform other options in their roles and excel in creating powerful elemental reaction combos.
• A-Tier - The best alternatives to S-tier characters. These characters perform excellently in their roles and can easily replace S-tier picks in most team compositions. If you don't get an S-tier character, aiming for A-tier is a solid reroll strategy.
• B-Tier - Decent characters that shine in specific content but have limitations. B-tier characters perform well in certain situations or team compositions but lack the versatility of higher tiers. They require more investment to reach their full potential and may struggle in content where they're not optimized. Useful as niche picks or when you lack better alternatives.
• C-Tier - Characters that currently underperform in the meta. C-tier characters are outclassed by higher-tier alternatives in most situations and struggle to justify their spot on teams.

When Will We Update This Neverness to Everness Character Tier List?

We're committed to keeping this tier list accurate and up-to-date. After we progress through the beta test, we will organize our rankings by character roles to better reflect the game's emphasis on elemental reactions and character synergies. We will update the rankings every time there is a new patch, balance changes, or significant meta shifts. This ensures the tier list always remains fresh and reflects the current state of the game.

Following the official launch, we'll conduct testing across various game content, analyze elemental reaction systems, and evaluate character performance in different roles before publishing our first major role-based tier list update. From that point forward, expect regular updates following each patch cycle and major content release.

Remember that tier lists are guidelines, not absolute rules. Player skill, team composition, elemental synergies, and investment levels all play significant roles in how well characters perform. Even lower-tier characters can be effective in the right hands and with proper team support. Check back regularly for updates as we continue testing and as the game progresses toward its official release.
